The University of Tamanghasset hosted an international conference on 26 and 27 February, entitled: Social Hazards between the Stakes of Sustainable Development and the Globalization Era. The conference adopted a hybrid mode through which programmed presentations were discussed by professors and researchers. At the end of the conference, a set of recommendations were adopted as follows:
- Exchange of international expertise through scientific and cognitive networking to tackle different forms of social hazards.
- Operationalize the role of educators, social workers and psychologists in different sectors through outreach and sensitization programs as well as training courses with an engagement of media outlets.
